21:3. কিন্তু য়োয়াব উত্তর দিলেন, “প্রভু তাঁর লোকদের শতগুণ বাড়িযে চলুন! মহারাজ, ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দাই তো আপনার অনুগত ভৃত্য| কেন আপনি এই কাজ করতে চাইছেন? আপনি সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পাপের ভাগী করবেন|”

21:3. Joab replied, "May the LORD make his army a hundred times larger! My master, O king, do not all of them serve my master? Why does my master want to do this? Why bring judgment on Israel?"

21:3. But Joab replied, "May the LORD increase the number of his people a hundred times over! But why, my lord the king, do you want to do this? Are they not all your servants? Why must you cause Israel to sin?"
